 Sorry, this is so delayed! At least now it's summer, and we can all breathe for a moment and relax.

This outfit seems simple and comfy to me. I feel like the touch of color on my lips works well with the tiger face. I LOVE this dress! It's totally going to be my slacker, go-to outfit. This is from our photo-shoot a while back, but I wore this outfit to school practically the next day.

Back to Beige and Black

 Hello! This is just a quick post showing what I wore to school today. I always love the outfits with no color to them, because if done the right way, they can have such an refined look to them. I went with a theme of black and beige/gold in this outfit and kept it fairly minimal, except for of course the spiky gold statement necklace (one of my favorites!)

Holiday, Oh Holiday!

It's not often that we get to hang out together and have a photo shoot like this! Mixing and matching clothes was in part inventive creativity and in part an expressive outlet for all of us.

Pictures were taken in the awful awful rain with many towels, umbrellas, and frantic swinging of thee arms.

These aren't all the outfits cause we didn't want to leak them all at once. That would be no fun

Friday's are Vampire Weekend Days

Feelin Retro

It's funny how things come back in style,  even after decades. The sweater is totally giving me a 70's and 80's vibe. The color scheme, especially the bright, burnt orange, seems like something you could find in the 70's. The shape of the sweater is baggy, and makes me feel like I should be in an 80's movie with neon leg warmers, leggings and my hair in a high ponytail. Combat boots were part of the whole grunge scene happening in the 90's, but they have definitely been back these last few years.

Decade throwback aside, throwing on an interesting sweater or shirt over a body con skirt, with some statement jewelry, can always look cool and effortless, if you can't find something to wear that morning.

Attack of the Ducks

Cautiously approaching ducks...

The ducks got a little too close, so I scared them off with my cardigan. I actually like animals, I swear.

Today as a school field trip, we went to go see The Great Gatsby movie. Though I heard critics completely butchered it, I actually like the film. I thought that a lot of the images and themes from the book were really well represented. Both the book and movie are definitely worth checking out.

Today's outfit was lots of layering since there was a little spring chill in the morning. Though the colors are neutral, they balance out with the rough texture of the cardigan and the quasi-countryness of the rustic boots. 

While taking photos, we were attacked/stalked by ducks, hence the awkward, cardigan-shaking photograph...
